Have had it happen for quite a few things over the last 3 years.
Feel fortunate; I have never been able to get anything that has reported "missing from database" returned.

I feel your pain!!! Yesterday, I discovered that several gowns from Last Call, Blaze, and Icing are missing. The folders are there, but they are empty. I've cleared my cache, deleted the cache folder from my hard drive, tried logging in to a low lag region...nothing. And yes, I've submitted a ticket..

i get the feeling that the database is borked again... :-/
in my inventory i could not find anything that disappeared, just a bunch of things that i can´t rez (missing from database).
but on my alt some things simply disappeared, when i just logged in i was barefoot, though i had shoes when i logged out yesterday, and they have completely vanished...
i just hope they have backups!

we´ll see, can´t do anything about it anyway Once you hopefully have everything back again............... Give Meerkat or Greenlife viewers a try. You can export objects you have created to xml files and store them on your computer. That will take care of the prims and textures and you will just need to manually back up any scripts you have created.

Hi,
Six months ago or so, I lost more than half of my inventory. Gone!
At that time, someone told me to sign into "beta grid" for a minute. When I went back to reg sl, everything was RETURNED.
I'm not sure how helpful this information is, the "beta grid" as far as I know is "not available at this time." But it's hopeful, maybe there is a way.
Good luck.

Me waves to Jesse How long have U been to Sl and what have u seen? hehe (remember me?) Yes Greenlife viewer got the xml export code from Meerkat BUT both cannot export objects created by another user. So this wont work - would be cool, would be copybot, would get U banned haha

By the way, try moving to another sim too, my private sim experienced a weird asset error, where no inventory items could be pulled, restarting fixed it.
