Anyone been able to try Immersive Workspaces by Rivers Run Red?

Is this project dead or dying fast?

Why would you think it's dead? It's only recently been announced, it's aimed at business users, give it a chance to get off the ground.

From what I read about it on the GRID site it has nothing to do with us normal SL users. It is aimed at business for a meeting platform. So unless you have the money and a business I doubt to many people here have anything to do with it.

Their web site says they are developing Immersive Brandspaces for Google Lively.

Lively's death was announced 11/19/2008, but they haven't updated their web site to reflect this.

This suggests to me that maybe there's nobody home or no one awake at the wheel.

It's not in beta, it's on version 2.

I've heard no reports of anyone who's actually used it. There's a video on the web site, but anyone can make or fake a video. There's been fake virtual world videos posted about here that people apparently believed.

In the interview Justin Bovington says IW has been out 9 months. The October announcement was apparentlhy about the partnership with LL, not the start of Immersive Workspaces.
