I have a Gazelle, from Rimle Moo. It came with this landmark:
NEO Inari(Furry Japan Item), secondlife://Oinari/153/176/22/

Not quite a deer... but it's probably the most "classical furry" looking animal of that type that I've found. And of course, it's moddable.

My first thought was that this would be a great title for an advice column for animal avatars.

It's my second thought, too. But I like the idea of having a realistic deer avatar. It would move faster than my platypus, I suspect.

Oh, a quad...not sure.

Does anyone know where Ghosty got his llama? That might be a place to start.

Edit: The llama is from Grendel's Children, a place always worth checking out, even if they end up not having a deer.

That wouldn't be a furry then. That would be called a "non-anthro", "feral", or "quad" avatar. I've never seen a quad deer, but you could probably mod one using a small equine AO, like the Grendel's Children one, and parts from an anthro deer.
