Can you add a friend to an existing Friends IM conference chat ?

1. Inside the IM, click the (<<;) button on the top right to expand the list of names.
2. Drag and drop a calling card into that list.

Wow, Day! Great tip!

Does it have to be a calling card? Any way to do this with a random profile of someone you don't have a card for?

Oh WOW! :) All of us have been starting new conference IMs when someone new comes up or logs in or someone crashes...

Hmm, will it work re-adding them after they crash I wonder?

Select the names of some online friends and click the IM/Call button and it will conference them all on the IM.

Not sure about making a current private IM into a conference though.
