Is there a way to make something for sale to a particular group? I seem to recall once going to a store where I had to wear my group tag to get the item that was being offered free...but I cant for the life of me work out how they did that...
anyone got an idea?

It's pretty straightforward. In the edit window, you set the vendor object to to the same group as the allowed buyers (but beware autoreturn settings
 ). Then you can use llSameGroup to see if the avatar is wearing the right tag. Scripted vendors will need the usual busywork, refund if the group membership is wrong after a payment and all that._____________________
