I've noticed lately that after I have been looged on for a couple of hours, 'LEFT CLICKING" on an object has no effect whatsoever. I have to "RIGHT CLICK" on the object and then left click on TOUCH in the pie menu. Logging off and then back on seems to correct it for a couple of hours.
Is it only me or is anybody else experiencing this?
Any suggestions on how to fix this minor annoyance?

What is your current setting for Tools > Select Only My Objects? If it is activated, it will cause the behavior you described. I always forget to turn it back off until I try to select something that isn't my own and can't...

THANK YOU Feline, that fixed it. I feel really dumb, but it won't happen again.

Awww, IMBE, don't feel stupid. I don't want to tell you how long it took me to figure out what was wrong the first time it happened to me. Upward of a week, I believe.
That's why we're here... to learn from each others' experiences so we don't have to figure this stuff out all alone!

It's not dumb.. just feels that way. In fact, ever since LL has done away with the default attachment point of prims being the head, I've begun to think of this as the new rite of passage. You aren't a full fledged SL user until you've accidentally left on the 'select only my objects.' It's either that or the 'show updates' which shows the blue and red triangles.
