Extra DOS Window when starting SL

Has anyone else been getting this. When I start up SL, I first get a DOS window open, which runs through the lines of code. SL then starts fine in a separate window.

If you close the DOS window, then SL shuts down as well. It's no real problem as everything works OK, except when you are switching from one application to another it's a bit annoying to keep clicking on the wrong one. This has only been happening since, I think, the last update, but I could be wrong.

Have I broken something?

I might be wrong but it is worth a shot... Check in the client menu and see if you have 'console window' checked or not.

Felix, you're a genius!!! Console window was checked, and now it's not it's all gone away. Not sure how that happened - probably me fiddling with something I shouldn't have been.

Heh, hardly a genius. Just someone who once had the same issue because I just can't resist seeing what mysterious settings actually do.
