Something amazing.

Hi all,

I just wanted to share this, I met a snowman who has a pretty amazing half prim house from a sculptie, it's not for sale, it's just made for the sake of it.

PaperDragon's Lair, Dragonia Land (18, 105, 10)

Just click on the mini 1/2 (.5) prim house in this basement to be teleported to the full scale version 2000 meters high.

His name is Albsalgar Magic and the group is Sangah Jaan.

Everyone is welcome to come and see the 1/2 PRIM House FREE of charge. Sangah Jaan is an invite only group made of people who want to learn together in SL. My hope is that as people come and see it they can learn more about how to make even better things. There are some pretty cool things in the 'basement' for you to play with friends. The 'basement' is underwater so to better enjoy your stay here press Ctrl-Alt-F6 (To Remove Fog); You will need the advance menu up prior to removing th fog Ctrl-Alt-Shift-D (To have the Advance Menu). From the Advance menu: Click on rendering, then click on features, and make sure that 'Fog' is unchecked.

The mini 1/2 PRIM house is in the 'basement' under the 5 by 5 sliding puzzle game. It has Floating text 'Click to teleport...' so just click it ;-]

ok, I give, what's 1/2 prim house?

it is a 1 prim phantom sculpted mega prim..hardly 1 prim, or hardly a house....

What's amazing about it?

It's a single prim sculpt, using half of that prims capability, to make a house. It's an oblong sculpt, essentially, and only uses half of the sculpt map at this time, the rest is shown as a rectangle int he air.

ETA:: Also, rather than a whole thread for this, shouldn't it be in the Show Us Your Sculpts thread? That's all this really is, is trying to show off a sculpt.

Sorry about that, I had no idea it was so normal, to me it seemed like clever work and I encouraged Albsalgar to try and get some feedback here.

It's not necessarily 'Normal', but it's not a new technique. It looks fine, but I just mean to say that it's a sculpt, and this is showing off a sculpt, so it seems like it would belong in the thread created for that purpose.

It truly is an amazing concept...it opens up various possibilities in prim restricted properties. Someone has their thinking caps on.

So what - we're all showoffs. It's nice to see someone doing something creative and it's nice of his friend to try and show it to us all. I'd rather share someone's ebullience even if it is in the 'wrong forum' than see a wagging finger.

There's nothing "that" awesome about a wheat field, either; but the NY Times wrote a piece on "The Far and Away" - because well, in the end, it WAS pretty awesome.

Thanks for your support Melita I really appreciate it. If everyone one in SL and RL had your way of thinking people wouldn't be afraid to share and learn together. At Sangah Jaan (an invite only group) we are soon having classes on how to build these houses and then on how to make them so people don't go through the floor or the walls.

I'm very glad Ian Nider posted this. Over 450 People have looked at this post and over 500 have gone to see the 1/2 prim house. I hope people expand from here to make their own designs of 1 prim (or less) =]

I'm very surprised there is only 1 critic and not more, 1 critic is very good out of more than 500 visitors as there always people who think they can do better and get a really warm felling by insulting and belittle the works done by others. As I teach in my group-It is sometimes best to ignore these people; who will just give out negative energy. So to me unless is nice comments or comments about new ideas on how to do better... I pretend those negative comments do not exist.

The house WILL stay in display (regardless of what this one critic had to say). So bring all your friends and show them the 1/2 PRIM House!

Do not forget to get the 'FREE Souvenir' Is the board with the information about the 1/2 PRIM house written on it.

The 1/2 Prim house is still for display for everyone to come and see!!

NEW Addition:
A chest reduced from 15 prim down to 3 prims. The gold and bottom of the chest is a 1 prim sculpt. The gold and bottom have different colors and the gold is an animated texture. Very innovative created in blender by myself; and scripted by the Sangah Jaan Senior Scripter. This chest is part of the new treasure hunts with the Pazako Connection.

Also in the sim... Treasure hunt!!!
Yes the chests are still in the beta stage but come and find them and collect your prize!
