Hello,
I know how to 'fly' using Page Up/Down (tho I do keep flying into tall buildings) , but am sometimes advised to 'hover' or 'float'.
Is there any difference between flying, hovering, floating ?
Thanks
FH

Not really. Flying is sort of an active thing, where you're moving about, and uses a specific animation, while hovering means you're just staying in place, and using another animation. Most people do a lot of both. You'll get the hang of it soon enough, and all will come naturally. A great place to practice flying is Greenies. Another is the Lost Gardens of Apollo. You can find those in the Search window, using either the Places or All tabs. Happy flying! And welcome to Second Life!
