TP - Crashing Completely

,,,is anyone else having this problem? Whenever I try and go to my friends club or various other sims, I keep crashing out of SL completely. Usually, SL says 'can't teleport try again later, blah blah blah' but with this problem i just get the 'connecting to region' bar and then get the 'you can continue to view IM's or Quit' box and, wham, I'm outta SL for the 50th time!!?

When i do make it to my friends adjacent sim, when I fly over the SIM i can't TP too, all is i see is a water! I can't see any landscape or structure, I don't see my friends on my radar and they don't see me - and when I 'land' on the ground, I'm phantom, they can walk right through me!!! How rude :/

Everywhere else is perfect - perfect graphics, fast tp's, can purchase Lindens, pay for goods - not issues what so ever,,,it's just selected Sims?

Can anyone shed any light because it's driving me crazy ;/

If I remember right, there have been problems with that especially in the 1.2x series client.

Don't know if it's connected, but I have had several strange crashes today. And a whole sim near my home that seemed to have disppeared for hald an hour or so. Flying over it led to infinite flight to nowhere and no map data. It's back now. Maybe there are still some problems. The status page says 500 regions were down earlier.

I used to have crash on TP at the end of every month when my ISP throttled my bandwidth to dialup speed after I reached my download limit.

If this is happening repeatedly with TPs to the same sim, and to more than one sim, but not to all sims, it could be either network or corrupted cached data. If the clearing cache thing hasn't been tried yet (emphatically *not* the same as reinstalling), it would be worth a try--and/or removing the app settings folder (location depends on OS). And when none of that works, I'd power cycle every scrap of network gear between the client host and the ISP's wall jack.

If it were one sim in particular, I have twice seen a bug where you could only enter and leave a sim from one of the 4 sides and it stopped TP from the other 3 directions too, I couldn't even teleport through that sim to other sims 4 sims each way.
The evidence of this was you also couldn't see anything but a hole full of water from the other 3 directions. The sim was still working ok otherwise , I had a friend walk up to the edge from the inside, she could see my AV but couldn't walk out and I couldn't walk in. She could only get out the one side.

I have been having troubles with tp crashes since May. I have an iMac with all the bells and whistles. There are other issues as well. Turns out it is the 2wire modem my provider has an issue with the Mac viewers of second life. Nothing I can to. Oh, Woe is me!!
