Can someone please send me the link for the last download not this new one? It was quit more stable and I was able to keep my friends list.

just click on the download link if you are looking for the 1.19.0 version...
if other than that not sure.... they used to have the older versions there too but they are gone... _____________________

I have the newest release again now, which crashes, and keeps friends lists as waiting no matter what one does as long as one is on. I thought I would recheck it again this week, the/this newest version that is a few days ago, so wrongly removed the earlier version. Someone in the forum earlier posted the link to the release just before this newest version,, as it's now no longer listed on the SL down load page (just the newest version is listed). The earlier release was linked to another page, Amazon I believe was the link. Personally I re-downloaded the earlier release before this new one this past week, thanks to the link provided by way of the forum, alas once again poof had no issues and as well had my friends list back. Two days ago down loaded the newest release, with the same issues it had before when I down loaded it. The new release as it is now has friends as waiting on the new version, with crashes and more misplaced hair and shoes up me bum on tp. So if someone can kindly repost that link to the one just before this newest release, it would be awesome. I will return to the newest release once the bugs on the friends list is worked out. Doing business in world I need the friends list.

I've been trying to find the thread that posts the old version links, but no success so far. In the meantime, a couple of things: there are two "current" versions to try, the official released version, 1.19.0, and the "Release Candidate", 1.19.1. I've had pretty good luck with that RC version, if by any chance you haven't tried it yet. It's under the "test software" link of the downloads page.
Second, though, is the Friends List: this may not be fixable with any client. I know, some client versions seemed particularly b0rked about that, but this is usually a server / network problem, so...
