First, I admire Chip Midnight, it isn't that I don't think his templates are the bomb. It's that all the extra lines bug out my old tired eyes, and I can't find the original templates anywhere --they were on my old computer and I just assumed I'd be able to re-upload :)

If anyone has the original templates and would be willing to send them to me, please PM me and I'll respond with my email address.

Thanks in advance :)

These ones?
Or some from before these?

The ones from before those. Those are the CMFF files (Chip Midnight) and I can't get past all the lines. I'm sure they're useful to lots of people, my eyes just can't handle all the detail.

You should also be able to not show all the layers in Chip's templates in your graphics software. If you use the layered version, you can choose which level of detail shows.

(works for me anyway...... :o )

Yes, If you open the layers dialogue, and click the show icon (i think it is an eye but i use the gimp so it could be different for you) next to each layer that you don't need, then it wont show. I'm not sure on the CMFF templates, i haven't used them just yet but the ones i have have UV layer and others which I don't need, so i just don't show them.

I've selected and de-selected layers, but I think it's a combination of the black background and the extra guide lines that do my eyes in.

In any case, THANK YOU to Kitty for the link. :)

After I figured out how to do them properly, I found the CMFF templates very useful and made some nice clothes. But now my computer has decided not to allow them to be saved as transparent Targas for some reason and so I can't do any more.

I really like Robin Wood's templates the best. I think I've downloaded both hers and Chips and might have an SL original, not sure. There is a site that you might already know about that I think have the originals. I'll have to look and will post if I can find it for you.
