Hi all,
Well, the deed was done, the estate has been broken up and the sims have been sold off, with just one left (Sukka Mire, the nicest), see the Land Sales forum for details on that one.
As I mentioned in my previous posting, I will maintain one sim only in SL now, Hoini, as too much of my heart is locked up in that sim. On the bright side this will free up more of my time now, and I can enjoy SL more (providing I don't leave the island much and head off into LagWorld).
So to all my friends, business associates, suppliers, and the myriad of interesting people I have just bumped into in SL, thank you all. You are the real difference that makes the toleration of the god-awful technology that undelies SL bearable.
The beauty in SL, both in terms of builds, content, and of course - people, continues to stagger me. The mysteries of SL also continue to mystify me (why do SO many girls head off to Gor, for example, and just where does all that hot-tub water that my tenants keep reporting as having gone missing actually go to?? Has the SL sea-level risen at all has anyone noticed, is this an example of SL Warming perhaps?).
All in all, I am a richer person for the experience, but for god's sake, don't tell the EU VAT-man, or he'll want his 19%!!

I can't answer the question about the girls running off to Gor as I know I wouldn't make a good slave lol The hot tub water, I bet the neighbours keep pinching it for their hot tubs! I did discover that if you rez two within a short distance of each other, the first one loses its water after going crazy for a while wanting to know what happened to it each time I rezzed another Anyway, good luck with your new found taxless freedom in SL, I must say you sold those islands quick! Maybe the reason for LL not putting sims on the market, they know there will be lots floating around anyway.
