A quick question about posting on a x street forum.

I wanted to post on the x street forum a new product. However i cant see an option to post new thread.

Anyone got any ideas on how i can overcome this slight inconvenience hehe

I posted here because i know answers are usally quite swift :)

I've never even seen the xstreet forum but one possibility springs to mind. Are you sure that you're logged in there? If you're not, the system probably won't allow you to post.

ahh i did abit more reading and saw that you must have a product advertised on there before you can post for free in the forums hehe.

Did you follow the login instructions for the "the blog"? That's where you need to log in to. Log in to SL/these forums/your account doesn't log you into the blog (why? who knows.)

Yes, the New Products feed appears to come directly from just posted XStreet listings. There is a new products forum right down vvvv here :)

Umm... I can't find where they archived the old XstreetSL forums, but wherever they are, presumably they're locked to new posts.

The new commerce forums have a (completely useless) apparently automatically generated feed of newly listed items, at https://blogs.secondlife.com/community/commerce/newproducts.

I'm not sure if that means you could get away with just pressing "Start a Discussion" (upper right) on https://blogs.secondlife.com/community/commerce/wanted and hawking your own product... I guess you could have an alt ask for a product and then you could answer with your listing--at the risk of your competitors chiming in with rival suggestions.

Or just punt and post to in the True Forums. ;)

Just for extra fun on the blogs - which view are you using? In overview the button is top-right, in 'discussions' it's top-left. Etc. etc
