I don't know much about competition boards and such - but I am looking for a board that people can click the board and add a name - not for voting on or competing with others on - merely like forming a queue so people know who's on Now, and who is up next. I would also like it to have the power that I can edit the list when necessary, like when the next person is up, their name goes in a separate box at the top, and then rest queue underneath, and then I can do something to delete that person's name and the next moves up. If that makes sense?

I need it to make a queue for people to play videos, in the club I manage - I was thinking 3 songs each, and then someone else can have a go. I know I can't link the board to the screen, so just need something people can add their own names to, etc - as above.

Is this available in SL? If so where can I get one?

Not sure what this means; I guess I'm not clear what "the screen" is here.

Displaying and managing a queue of names is not a big deal; no idea if the product exists already--if so, somebody may suggest it.

One thing to keep in mind: displaying text other than "hovertext" is currently pretty primmy (at most ten characters per prim). If the space is small enough that hovertext will suffice, you should be able to get away with at most one prim per name, and possibly one prim for the whole display, depending how fancy it needs to be.

There's another approach, however, which is why I wondered about "the screen" above: if the text is on a web page, it's possible to use that page as parcel media. The limitation is that any viewer can only see one media stream at a time, so with such an approach, guests could switch back and forth between videos and the page listing the names, but couldn't see both at the same time. I'm guessing that wouldn't be appealing in this application, but not sure.

I bet Kat Burger's boards could be used that way. They make a visible list of names.

there is a Karaoke place that signs people up to sing (in order) with that method. I'll have to find out where I was for that and report back later.
