To Create something offline and then build it online through a script?

basically I am wanting to do all of my building offline before I buy my land. This way once I get the land I use some way to import my build then only have to texture it for completion. Instead wasting a months tier on my land while building it.

The intent is to build a 4 sim region. That turns out to be an RP city.

Anyways I have done searches and maybe I am wording it wrong but all I ever come acrossed is vague libsecondlife discussions and somestuff about copybot which I dont wanna use to import my build. The TOS are against it anyways. Well I know it specifies for copywrite infringing usage but I would rather not even risk my account by using that to get my build imported.

Any links or advice on this would be appreciated. and due to the size of my build using a sandbox is not an option.

Thanks for any help.

Well I think you can import sculpty but I am not sure. You can import texture files, and sculpty is a texture. Other than that I don't think so.

You can built in a stand-alone open sim then export/import the builds using the Meercat viewer.

With the prim.blender script, you can build in Blender and import via scripts to SL.

See this thread for the details (although I "think" the creator has stopped development on the scripts):

If you want to build a 4 region build offline I would go with Osprey's suggestion. With some trickery you can even run all 4 regions on your desk top. With even more trickery(static ip and a rockin connection) I think you can even invite friends over.

I vote for Osprey's solution... building in another program like blender is OK for individual objects but you really need a real sim under you for a full build. Just don't go over 15,000 prims per sim.
