I have a pci (NOT pci-e) 256 mb ATI Radeon 9250. My SL refuses to run the card, says I need the most up to date drivers. The ATI website has faulty installers, they cannot find the inf file after they put it on your hard drive. I tried the omega drivers, but SL refuses to accept them. I'm running XP pro. Where can I look to fix this driver issue?

Google is your friend. Ever tried "Radeon 9250 driver"? So don't be lazy. But don't expect great results, if any.

From: Boy Lane But don't expect great results, if any. Especially with this card. It'll run as slow as pudding.

Remember that PCI is a 10-15 year old technology... was great in the day of the P1 or P2.. however in today's standards, with the graphics bottleneck that even exists in top of the line AGP cards, I would suggest if you are thinking of making SL your home or even branching out into other environments(wow or some other MMORPG) its time to wake up, smell the coffee and upgrade that 5 yr old system... If you have a computer that barely runs XP with a PCI video card (onboard video that cannot cut it either) you are in for a world of chagrin and you will not enjoy SL let alone any other computing experience that is out today.
