We have been ARing this tower for 3 days and it still sits there spewing its partically badness on our lovely garden.

In the past we have had to AR things before, and they have always been dealt with in no more than one day (although it does usually take reports by more than one av).

This tower sits on a 16sqm, and has two particle spewing boxes that travel up and down the length of it. The tower says 'adbot' or something like that all over it. And the land? Oh yes, it is for sale for $2999L.

So my question: is the G-team on vacation? or have they just stopped caring about extortionist practices?

In 2005, a leet team of hackers was sent to the cornfield for a grief they didn't commit. These avatars promptly created alts and went undercover. If you have a problem... if no one else can help... and if you can find them... maybe you can hire...

I debated whether to help you out and report this myself or not. If it was built to promote a club it may have still been ugly as hell, but wouldn't be considered extortion of any kind. Then when I read right on it that it was a bot ad I just couldn't let it go and had to send in an abuse report. I hope it helps.

Maybe they are all busy inventing the new rules to curb cutting?

Thanks and yes, you can see when you get there that it wasn't put there to support anything. That 16 was for sale, someone bought it a few days ago and promptly put the tower on and put it up for sale again at (of course) a much higher price. I will let you know if it poofs lol

It is 100 meters tall and that is against the new ad rules all by itself. My friend just bought a 16 for about 500 because the Lindens wouldn't get rid of encroaching prims, so Linden apathy is back to normal.

that sim floor and sky reminds me of the main reason i stay away from mainland as much as possible..it's chopped to death..

yay it must be gone (haven't logged back in yet *working* lol)

and I know, its a mess there But we are sentimental old things and its really quite peaceful inside the garden. When we cant see tall towers over the walls that is.

I have a workbox in the sky in Phantasm, much nicer there, but yea, don't think Zep will ever part with the Nadata land lol

i used to live on mainland like my first year..
if things would not have changed i would have stayed there because i loved the first place i lived in so much..i have tried to get it back just to have that spot with the same house for memories sake..but every time i look it is nabbed up again..

i can totally understand the sentimental attachment it has..
too many land choppers are in the world wrecking nice places..

There are many parts of the mainland that I love, then there are spots that... ya... look more than a little patchwork.

yes i love the beautiful places that are there..

i just can't live there because one day it is nice then it could change to the point i can't walk..
not saying the really nice places are like that..but regular residential sims not fully owned can change over night ..then iam off shopping for another home..

but i do love the beautiful places people have made on mainland..there are some of the most amazing sites to see

just a quick thanks to anyone who popped over to help, the tower is in fact gone, one of the particle elevators remains (there were 2) but since it is in my field of view only a few seconds of its ascent/descent I'm not stressing over it Thanks!

i have not been to mainland in a long time unless a store or shop i need to go to is there..
last night was the first time in a long time for me..
