i'm stunned no one has started the weekly stipend-missing thread yet.

SL cheated me out of my bonus.. why set a precedent and pay my Stipend too?

I don't really worry about it any more. Not much I can do with $L300 anyway.

Not to sound like a broken record but, since I've never seen you answer the question when I've asked, if you initially signed up as Basic and then upgraded to Premium, you were never eligible for the bonus...even if you upgraded right away. You must become Premium in the process of setting up your account in order to get it.

I submitted a ticket, they closed it saying the payment will be made on day 48. On day 50 I reopened the ticket. I have now been online for 60+ days and the ticket is still open.

Have you tried grabbing someone in Live Chat? There's a specific link for Billing once you work your way through the Solution Finder steps.

Also, it is unfair to offer free accounts to try SL with the expectation that you will open a premium account. Then offer a bonus at $1500 and First Land both of which are superceded (no first land and reduced bonus) and the website was never updated until I made an issue of it my first week inworld.

With the SL track record I figure if I get the bonus I am going to give $L1 to each cartel member until it runs out. Don't hold your breath waiting for it. Your avi will look like my friend Madhu.

Definitely don't settle for the Support Ticket.. Live Chat tends to put more pressure on them than the tickets do. Tickets are 'safe' to forget about.

It's a sign up bonus, not an upgrade bonus, which suggests that you must do something at the time of sign up in order to receive it. *shrug* I do think they should allow it for people who upgrade within a short period of time though...maybe 48 hours?

I've never seen it listed as 1500L.

I perhaps misunderstood. Entirely possible.

I also don't have chat service available. I just checked the website and there isn't any chat service available unless you own an Island or full Sim. A mere mortal like myself paid for 1 year and $40USD Tier doesn't rate chat service.

In most cases yes.. you get what you pay for. In the case of SL no you don't.

I am more typically a happy and easy going person. If I did my job as poorly as SL I would be unemployed.

edit> cx, if you're so mad about the service you get here, you can always leave. i'm not saying your should after being here only a few months. but it sounds like you're not very happy. you might be happier on the "open grid".

My tier is $16/mo and I do have Live Chat. Click the Support link, log into the Support Portal, click the Solution Finder link, answer all the questions with 'my answer is not here.' When you get to the end, it will offer three Live Chat options, one of which is for Billing.

I feel like I've come to LL's defense so many times in the past in these forums. Not anymore. Your comment is right on target. I would never have gotten away with their incompetence in providing service.

The least of my worries is stipend right now, it is still Tuesday, but that's about all I'll give them at this point.
