Hi, does anyone know how to find a lost object in a wall or a mountain?? I placed something on the ground but it went straight up, and now, I can't find it!! I had it in Edit mode, but I must have clicked outside of the object and now I can't see it or find it!! So, I was wondering if I could search for it by name...or something..grrrr!!! I hate that!

You could use a "finder" tool or object scanner.

If you turn on the Client menu* you can select Client/Rendering/Hide Selected. This will hide the mountain or anything else you right click on and then you can see if your object is in there.
Also, you can use Client/Rendering/Wireframe. This will allow you to see objects inside other objects. If you zoom in carefully you can grab the hidden object and drag it out. I had to do that with a piece of jewelery one time that got lodged in my AV.

*To turn on the Client menu, do Control/Shift/Alt D all at once. (I think that's correct - if not, someone will correct me, I'm sure.)

First make this : In the toolbar mark "select only my objects" then edit some of your objects and with the left mouse buttonpressed select the area where your objects supose to be under ground or in the middle of the wall, make many try you need because maybe you select other of your stuf ,then just move it

Thanks for all of your suggestions! I had the landowner help me - she found it clear across the other side of the island! I'll keep these tips for next time - I'm sure I'll run into this again - LOL!
