Unsit anyone? Derez ANY object? Return? HELP!

Hi,

the other day I was with bunch of my friends, my friend was sitting down on a box... and this other guy just Unsit him... when I asked him how did he do it ( since this was a public sandbox and he shouldn't have the right to do it) he said he "derezed" the object.


any idea on how you can do that if your NOT in your land?


Also, another question, could you return someone's object to his/her inventory even if you don't have modify rights from that person?

p.s: I'm asking how to do these stuff if you were let's say in a public sandbox where you have no rights at all and these objects are not yours

You can return anyone's objects that are on your land, regardless of whether or not you have mod rights.

As for the first thing....I find that when I'm able to take a copy of something, it unsits anyone and everyone who may have been sitting on it.

nopes that was not the case. it was a battle between them .... so

Was your friend's box still there? The other guy could have rezzed an object around that one before he sat down.

Well, I recall a weapon that tended to unsit an avatar regardless of who created the object, but I'm not sure if it's around any more or if it'd even still function.
