Does anyone know what the go is with inventory in the beta grid. How long it takes for things to show up there etc. Ive noticed that not everything from my inventory in SL is in my inventory on Beta??

The current Beta Grid is a snapshot of SL on July 17, 2007. Anything you acquired after that date will not show up in Beta.

The beta grid is a copy of part of the live grid that was taken at some point in time in the past. So it contains the content as at that point in time. LL update it as and when needed - there is no fixed time or periodicity of regular copies being taken that I am aware of. It seems in general to be anything from a few weeks to a few months old. Maybe someone else knows more????

Second Life Havok4 Beta Preview Refresh (2007-10-24): 12 issues resolved
Wednesday, October 24th, 2007 at 6:48 PM PDT by: Sidewinder Linden
* The Beta Preview will be offline for approximately 24 hours as we apply the update and perform internal testing. We will then return the Beta Preview to open access.
* The Havok4 Beta Preview system database will be refreshed (updated and overwritten) early next week. Please save any scripts that you would like to keep, since this refresh will replace all inventory with a new snapshot of your inventory from the public Second Life system.

And the inventory snapshot was newer than the July that the silly thing says. By snapshot, I'm going to assume ability to log in, because there have been at least two inventory refreshes since then. I oddly enough can't wait for them to work the bugs out of Havok4! Although they hadn't fixed the camera on hollowed prims issue last week.

By the way, it *is* possible to get help from a Linden, such as Blue Linden or Data Linden, to get your asset items that are not yet in the Beta grid transferred to it, prior to a grid-wide refresh. I had to do that once, to test an issue with a vehicle. I had just bought the boat that I needed to test, and it wasn't in my Beta grid inventory yet. I believe it was Blue Linden who was able to push my inventory over, so I could do my test right away.
