Ok i'm stumped i really can't find this group string thing, and i'm getting annoyed now. I'm wanting too place a group invite thing into my shop but i can't find the string too my group.
Help please.

I think what you are looking for is in the html page that appears when you find your group using the new search, at the bottom right.

This is from memory, I don't have SL up now.

I must sound real thick lol right now but where is this new search i can't find it anywhere inworld?

click the "Search' button.. and use the "All" tab.. type in the name of your group.

Below the "full profile" button, is some dark text that looks like this:

Now here's the complicated part. Put that in a browser..

http://world.secondlife.com/group/978c4e35-9b11-f36c-aef2-f62d5cc1c3e1

Now there's a button that says "View Full Profile" on the webpage... right click it and select "Copy Link Location.. and you'll get this:

secondlife:///app/group/978c4e35-9b11-f36c-aef2-f62d5cc1c3e1/about

Deliver THAT text from a script in SL, and you'll get a clickable link for people to "join" your open enrollment group.

ok thank you, now the only problem is my group does not show up in the search and i've set it too open so what has happened?
