Hi,
This morning I logged into secondlife I was teleported to another sim, after I somehow managed to get back to my own sim I was confronted with literally hundreds of boxes with faces.
I logged in and out quite a few times and eventually it was cleared up.
About 10 minutes ago a dialog box popped up asking me to join a group I declined all of sudden my screen filled up with "Natalie Oe shouts" and a bunch of profanities. more dialog boxes popped up says an object wanted to animate me, I said no and everytime I pressed the no button the faces popped up again.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
This is beyond a joke these so called griefers who have nothing better to do then crash sims and create kaos. I can't really see the funny side of this.

Yeah those have been going on for a week or so. Totally miserable. You can get ahold of Live Chat if you can and let the Lindens know which sim is being affected and they can come and knock out the griefer.

you can stop the dialogs by muting the object I believe, if not, busy mode should work just fine to stop the flood while you AR it

And when these clowns turn up, don't rush to them, use your camera , you will get frozen by spam as soon as you enter shout distance. Use a long range radar to get their name. _____________________

Thats the exact same thing I had about a week ago... The good news is when you get a Linden there they track them right now and poof they are gone for good. Proxy or no proxy. The Lindens I think have got kinda tired of that little toy running around and they are nailing eveyone using it thank god.

The Lindens I think have got kinda tired of that little toy running around and they are nailing eveyone using it thank god. Yes, and LL also figured out how to track to the real griefer reguardless of the little script that makes it look like someone else is shouting. Prolly just by looking at the system as the script was uisng system resources to make the shout *rolls eyes at the stupidity of griefers* And the Premium Live Chat is only Mon-Fri during normal LL buisness hours. If on the weekend, the best thing to do is start IMing friends and see if anyone has a contact to someone with Concierage level support, and if that person would mind calling up a Linden. I honestly think we need a 24/7 manned channel that anyone can use to report Griefing and/or Exploits. Using it for anything else gets you perm-banned. LL can use big red signs on a web page to make sure people know the risk. It might curb all this weekend griefing and increase retention of paying customers. ~Jessy _____________________

Whenever I go to the Beta Grid sandboxes some guy seems to be filling them up with cube swarms. I'm assuming it's a small number of RLs doing this through multiple avatar ID's, possibly trying out new 'griefs' before taking them onto the main grid. Otherwise it would be pretty boring watching a sim fill up with cubes after a while!
