Is there any client or patch that lets you play SL offline? Like you would be reserved to a sandbox but still can move aorund it and build and what not?

No. Most assets lie on LL's servers, so it isn't possible as of now.

Check this out, I do most of my building locally then move everything over to SL using Second Inventory. It's so much faster to build when you don't have to worry about lag
