It opened for me and I must admit I tend to agree wholeheartedly with your assumptions ,why they wan,t to change however I fail to work out.

I'm afraid I understand where LL is coming from. They'll never take SL to the next level the way it is. Whether they elevate it or kill it (or neither) with this latest attempt, I don't know. But I couldn't see them continuing as is indefinitely.
