Hello,
I have a 4096 plot and wanted to buy a house to put on it. The houses i see all have dimensions on them, like 30 x48 or something. How can i figure out my land dimensions so i know what house will fit on the property?
Thanks
Joe

Try turning on View / Property Lines and walk to the corners, recording the X and Y coordinates shown at the top of the screen in blue. You don't have to be terrifically precise in walking because all parcel boundaries are on multiples of 4m, so just round to the nearest multiple. Then subtract the smaller from the larger X and Y to get the dimensions.
Or... a 4096 can be many shapes, but if it's just a big square, it will be 64x64m.

/me points to what Qie said but I like View -> Land Owners better as it lights up the whole land and, IMO, makes it easier to see. Green is land you own or land owned by a group you're in.

To save time (and your sanity) later on, you might want to keep a notecard with the corner points and dimensions of the parcel. Sounds stupid, but isn't.

From: Senga Tsarchon To save time (and your sanity) later on, you might want to keep a notecard with the corner points and dimensions of the parcel. Sounds stupid, but isn't. QFT I have the corner points, dimensions and centre point of my plot noted down on the private page of my profile for quick access. When you do a lot of building, its useful info to have handy. You can also put transparent, phantom posts at the corners of your plot for quick reference. My current plot is rectangular so I don't bother, but I used to have somewhere with bumps and cut-outs in one corner and along the sides that made it tricky to remember where the edges were.
