How do I sell something?

I have made:
Pants
Shirt
Skirt
An add board to show a picture of the outfit for sale

I don't know how to bring it all together now so that someone can just click on the picture of what they want to buy and buy a copy of it.

I also need to make sure what I am selling to them has the correct permissions. Like my skirt is flexi so I want it copy/mod/no transfer etc..

I have clicked on my add board I made and clicked edit and then clicked the contents tab and dragged my items in there. For some reason the pants icon becomes a shirt icon.

Do I need to mark each individual item for sale inside contents?

What if my item is $100L Do I mark each item for sale at that price????

I'm so confused lol!


Sorry is this has been asked before. I went through previous posts and frequently asked questions, but did not see my individual problem listed.

Hi, Silk. Not sure why pants are turning into shirts in the box. Could be a glitch. Do they turn back into pants when you put them in your folder in inventory?

And no, you do not need to mark each item in the box for sale if you are selling as a set. Just the box.

Hi there

There are several classes being run currently on how to begin a SL business, from the smallest (no start-up cash, one small vendor, one or two products) to an entire business plan.

TUi has a good one going and a few others that I can't recall the names of the schools off the top of my head. They can be found in Search -> Events -> Education. They cover permissions, different ways to make your products known in the marketplace, etc.

There was a thread not too long ago about created clothing items defaulting to the "shirt" icon, if I remember right it is a bug... sorry, too lazy to search for it.
