I have been looking high and low. What I want to get is a cool (female) dark demon avatar and a realistic wolf avatar.. Can any of you give me recommendations on where to find these items?

Have you ever tried SLX? Do a search at http://www.slexchange.com

It helps alot to find the person who makes these things and then you can lookup there store inworld.

Grendel's Children have all sorts of avatars, including several demons and a wolf av. Their quadruped avatars are some of the best I've seen and everything they stock is good value. If I keep recommending them like this, do I get some freebies?

I have a raccoon av from WereHouse, also excellent but pricier (Grendel's don't have a raccoon av).

Dark Delights have some excellent demonic avs but be warned, the store has heavy BDSM & bestiality content. Not for the easily offended.

As per Cunundrum's post, SLX is a good place to start searching, even if you're going to buy in-world.
