I think that I saw saw a trick once for editing a linked group of prims to a smaller size. I know I'm not making sense, let me try to explain.

I have a complex skirt with a belt and stuff attached. When I edit the whole thing, I can only get it so small (not small enough). Is there a way to do this without editing each individual prim? I can edit them down individually if I select edit individual prims, but this is tedious and will soon drive me insane. I saw someone post a trick for this once (I think), but don't remember the work around ( if it exists).

Usually this means one or more prims are too small in one dimension to go any smaller. I'm not sure of any trick to get around this, but you can do it with a bit of work.

1) Make the whole thing as small as you currently can

2) Hunt for the prim(s) that are causing the trouble (buttons & fasteners are a common culprit) and make it/them larger.

3) Repeat from the start until you get it small enough

With some objects, there can be too many prims to find the ones causing trouble, or certain parts of the object just don't look good with prims at minimum size.
