Im currently looking at my avatar threw the eyes of the alt I made to stop TCS scoreboards from disappearing. Thats jus' not right.

If your main avatar is ghosted, request a sim restart from LL.

Have you tried sending you main an IM? That works sometimes. (^_^)y

If your main avatar is ghosted, request a sim restart from LL.

They don't have to restart the sim, any Linden can simply force tp you home which solves the problem as well.

(I'd guess a god summon would have the same effect)

Ah cool, didn't know that. Yes, I've also noticed that sending an IM to a ghost sometimes works.

I once got stuck in a parcel when I crashed & couldn't log back in for several hours. I finally put in a support ticket, and within a very short time, a Linden had logged me out. (Somebody told me later they saw my ghost there.)

Been there, done that. My alt pushed me into a lagoon. The witch. I was waterlogged when they finally got me out SEVEN hours later.

How do you get the immediate attention of a Linden??

When I get ghosted, I usually go in as an alt and try all the tricks: Send an IM to the ghost. Pay an L$ to the ghost. Kill the ghost, if on damage enabled land. Push the ghost across a sim border.

None of these seems to have an immediate result, but it does kind of feel good to work out some frustrations while doing it, and by the end, after trying everything, the ghost usually vanishes within 15 minutes.

The wierdest thing though was getting ghosted but being able to log on to the next region over. With a my draw distance turned up I was able to look across the sim and see myself still standing there. When I crossed the sim border though into that sim, the ghost finaly vanished.

I was trying to help a friend once that had a ghost hanging around inworld. I sent him a few IMs (some told me he was offline and some went through normal), I pushed him all around, I paid him a couple of Lindens, tried a variety of the weapons from my Mystitool, but had no luck until I selected 'orbit'. Amazing the extremes I had to go through.
