I have a 848sq m plot of land that i want to rent out for housing.

If its to be have a house on it what should i rent it out for?
it's a 140 prim limit (190ish total but the house on it for show takes up 40-something).

If I rented the land specifically how much then?

I'm not selling it via forum I just want to know prices.
I'm semi looking around at other lots to see how much they go for.

Your best bet would be to go around checking out other prices - noting what cost for how many prims etc...

117 prims (incl house) on a 512sqm plot can go from l$250 through to l$500 as far as I've noticed - others may see a wider range.

There is no hard and fast rule what to charge as it varies for a wild number of reasons, beaty of area being one, so I guess market research is your best bet.

Whatever you decide - good luck!

Location location location. If you've got a beautiful waterfront plot it's going to be worth a lot more than a plot slap bang wallop in the middle of a sim full of clubs.

There is no hard and fast rule, pop along to somewhere like rental central or rental advantage and browse the boards there or search classifieds by land rental.

I would start at $500 a week and lower it if you don't get any bites. Be sure to start a thread in the land rental forum here to get the word out.

We use a $L2 per prim per week basis on our rentals (includes prims used for house, furnishings and extras but does NOT include trees & foliage since we use that to pretty up the area).

I've also seen the rate of $L3 per prim being kicked around and have often seen higher.

I agree that location will certainly affect price, but then some people are looking for just uber cheap rent. Another question is: Who is your target market? Some people will pre-emptively screen for a more reliable clientèle by having very high rental rates -- I'm not sure if that's worked for them, however.

But I think everyone does things a little differently and you have to find what works best for you.

Good luck! And have fun!
