I was using a custom made SL viewer and it was working fine until the latest version of SL came out and I patched to that. I then tried loading the custom Viewer and there are quite a few problems such as the TP system, search and change group system all being bugged or broken. This forces me to use the official SL.exe and I have searched the downloads section of Secondlife.com but they only host the latest version of SL. Does anyone know of a place where I can download a previous version of SL or possibly beable to upload the previous installer somewhere for me?

All of the previous downloads are still on the Amazon servers. Here's a link to the old 1.18.4.3 version setup:
http://s3.amazonaws.com/download-secondlife-com/Second_Life_1-18-4-3_Setup.exe Just substitute the number of the version that you want, and it should work. |

I think the Nicholaz viewer website has archived versions of the SL viewers available for people to download. I'm sorry I don't have a link and can't say on the safety of using those clients, but I know that they exist. If anyone else could shed some light on the Nicholaz viewer in this thread it would be appreciated.

Nicholaz has not archived any SL builds, he always uses links to the Amazon server.
When using Nicholaz viewers, you do a full install of the relevant SL viewer, and then copy his viewer executable (and in some cases a few ancillary files of his own), over the SL install. This is so that his executable will have the benefit of the full set of SL ancillary files and install process in addition to the executable, which he replaces.. |

Just substitute the number of the version that you want, and it should work. . The new ones have underscores where there used to be spaces (%20).In case you want the older ones: September 28, 2007 http://download-secondlife-com.s3.amazonaws.com/Second%20Life%201-18-3-5%20Setup.exe September 19, 2007 http://download-secondlife-com.s3.amazonaws.com/Second%20Life%201-18-2-1%20Setup.exe |
