And yet another question!
Hubby purchased a high dollar, very nice skin, and has been wearing it for 2 days. Out of the blue, the skin seems to have changed - it now has white splotches and a demarcation line at the waist. He's tried taking it off and putting it back on and rebaked textures...no help.
Anyone have an idea why this might happen and, more importantly, how it might be fixed?

That is an interesting thing to happen to a skin. Now I've had tattoos that some how got ruined, maybe this is similar. Make sure all attachments and all items of clothing are removed. If it is still happening, I'd suggestion contact the skin maker.
Mind if I ask where the skin was bought? Thanks! I hope your problem gets resolved soon.

He bought it at Million Dollar Skins. He's in the process of stripping everything off now.

One thing to try is the 'rinse and repeat' which means, clearing the SL cache.

From: HoneyBear Lilliehook Removing everything didn't help. We've rinsed and repeated and repeated Ouch.. all I can say is contact the skin's maker and see if it might be a problem with ALL of that line. SL can and has done that. I spent nearly a week in September fixing a lace texture that SL ate.
