Child Avatar RPs?

Are there any RPs specifically geared for child avatars or extremely child avatar friendly?

Admittedly i'm more into a slight goth type scene, but i'm open to other sorts of hang out themes from western to space age to just regular ol' kids.

i pretty much don't hang out with any other child avatars in SL, for the full time i've been in SL i've only had one other child avatar friend... and neither of us knew where to "hang out" to meet other child avs, we just sorta stumbled on each other by accident.

i'm not really interested in "family RP", though i'm not against interacting with "other" families, just i'm not looking to be "adopted" or "play" someone's child necessarily. i just want a place where other kids hang out and stuff.

i'm especially interested in places where "text/emoting" RP is high. i like writing "stories" with people, so to speak...

Anyway are there any child friendly RPs? or RP specifically geared towards child avatars?

HardKnock Elementary and Sunshine Elementary are both about, and rumor has it that the Winter session of Camp HardKnock should be starting soon.

To be honest, though, I so so wish there was a lot more out there. There used to be an awesome "Kid Scouts" group, but the troop leader seems to be focused on WoW. I'd love another like it, as well as other stuff.

i thought i went to HardKnock before but the two times i went the place was completely empty. Are there specific times i need to be there to meet other kids or interact with people?

Are there any places kid avatars actually "hang out"? Like there are loads of clubs and hang outs where adult avatars into anything can be. Jazz clubs, hip hop clubs, romantic spots, whatever, just loads of social "get together" places where adult avatars hang out and mingle..

it's curious there are no such places for kid avatars... it makes me toy with making up such a place on the Island me and my RL girlfriend share since it's pretty much empty now.

I know some folks who are into the Harry Potter RP sims, but I assume they're more teen/tween oriented (since Harry turned 11 at the start of the serious, the minimum age for admission to Hogwart's). Some of their story lines are very dark, which might meet your goth style.

There are a number of kid and kid friendly clubs. Just search for "kid club" in the main search.

When I was kid I just sort of wondered around I checked out some of kid places
but I liked the idea of rping a "Orphan who had no interest in having parents"
I never found any place when I was into that I felt comfortable hanging out.

hmm my SL kid has a friend (child av too) who is a dj in club for kids. but i can't remember where. i know there's many sim for kids such as "Kids Kingdom" but i don't know what is their activity there. If i not mistaken there's few schoold too for child av. try search udner Firefly..they have school and day care.

There is an SL musician named Janor Slichter who I have seen perform a few times. This was several months ago but he seemed to have a fairly large following of "SL kids". It might be worth while contacting him.

Its a dark urban RP sim for kids and teens and lots of kids just hang out there. Very unique environment, dark and gritty. I think you'll like it.

I keep meaning to do an article or someting on Undercity. As I dun do dark an gritty m'self, I've kinda missed it.
