Hi, I had a terrible experience i am just compelled to share. While I was compiling information for my anticipated pregnancy some 8 weeks ago I visited Heavenly Babies maternity & pediatric hospital. There was someone there I can't remember their name. I was addressed and because of a faulty internet connection that made me freeze, and phone call upon my relogging, I could not answer promptly. I was ejected by that person from the sim, tossed about till I could tp home. I asked why and was told that I did not respond when spoken to. I tried to apologize and explain my dilema but my words fell on deaf ears. I eventually let the whole experiance be forgotten. Until....
Recently, a week from my delivery day my husband and I visited the place again. We came in happily inquireing about getting an ultrasound. I had thankfully forgotten the whole experience and when returning was not aware that I had been there before, I had visited alot of clinics before choosing our pregnancy details. Upon being asked if I had been there before, and answering no, my husband and I were ejected again...which ofcourse made me remember the previous experience. Mind you again with no warning or explanation.
I had absolutely no ill intent visiting this business either time and I was upset being thrown about in my condition. I believe it to be bad customer service and terrible SL etiquette. For the kind of humane women loving services they offer to callously eject me was reprehensable and I was compelled after this second time to voice my complaint.

I haven't had it happen to me...mainly cos the whole SL knocked up thingie doesn't appeal...but I have heard of people being ejected when they tp-ed in to look around or to get information.
The explanation from Heavenly Babies...browsing is not the thing to do there.

I read bit back ago about someone losing money at one of those pregnancy places who felt they were scammed. It wasn't same place named...but another place they prepaid a whole lot of money too.

Many SL businesses are run by rude morons. You found one, and were unfortunate to not remember it and found yourself there a second time. In a way it was a good thing, as it confirmed the fact that they are not worthy of your business.

might want to remove the name, as naming folks is a no no on the forums, when the post is in a negative light

You'd think that a place that depends on RP for their very existence would be a bit more careful about bouncing pregnant women across the grid. I can't understand why a visitor's lack of response or action would me met with such hostility. There are plenty of perfectly good reasons, technical and personal, why an AV would be standing around staring into space, at any location.

I am just trying to help the op, but.. meh, up to them I would think it would depend on the post. The original one was negative, but it wasn't bitchy or vicious or totally slagging off the business. It was just a case of "this happened to me" and she managed to keep her emotions in check...far better than I would in her place. I would think bad businesses need to be outted, but that does open up the possibility of personal attacks etc. Meh.

Yes, it'd be a sin to check your inventory to find the item you are trying to match, for example. Or simply browsing, because you want to compare makers before buying. Not to mention the simple act of rezzing, which means you might not SEE anything or be able to respond for the couple of seconds it takes for someone to take offense. Speaking of which, I need to start a note card of places that don't allow browsing, so I don't have repeat experiences.
