How do i get one of those little price tags on the map for my property for sale?

If your property is for sale, it will show yellow on the map if you have the land for sale checkbox turned on in the upper right of the map. The $ symbol will appear, or not, at the whim of the server.

It may also take some time to show on the map as i put some land for sale some 4/5 hours agao and its not showing on the map for sale as yet

Yes, it can take up to a day for the yellow to show up and then another day for it to go away after it is sold.
