TP crash

I've been having problems for a couple weeks except mine is teleporting... every time I TP it gets to region handshake and *crash* then it can take up to 20 mins to be able to log back in. Highly frustrating when confined to only one region!

Anyone else got this?

i didn't have the 20 mins problem. But the TP crash in SL is a constant like the sim crossing crash.

I crash often while using the RC. Almost never with 1.18.5.3 and Nicholaz Be-v patch.

I was suffering the proverbial TP crash regularly.. but seem to have sorted it now.. It probably wont be the same fix for many but maybe somewhere to start.
I run a Reactive Firewall (Blocks on Intrusion Detection) and I found that ALMOST every TP crash of mine was accompanied by a UDP Port scan on trying to connect to the region .I now don't permanently allow these regions but if It happens I remove the block that just appeared and TP 99.9% of the time second time . It hardly ever seems to be the same region either. Before I discovered the block though SL would play havoc with most TP's after the initial failure.
I'm much less stressed now I discovered my solution. But for me at least the Initial Port scan was the cause. my firewall doesn't like nosy servers. Although the scan is only probably looking for a port for UPnP, which I dont and wont use.

There is still one region tho that I cant connect to at all . I get Invalid Parcel every single time.(With nothing showing in any of my logs) even though my alt can travel there .. I'll get to the bottom of that one too one day .
