Help! Mystery particles...

Without any apparent reason, mysterious triangular shaped particles started emanating from certain objects and avatars on my viewer. Please see images at
http://www.woohoo-nyc.com/mysterious.html
Sometimes they’re red, sometimes blue, sometimes green. Most of the time they’re somewhat translucent but every now and then are solid. It seems that the more linkage and the more scripts the prim has, the more frequent and less translucent the mysterious triangles are. I’ve searched for “worn” in inventory, but that shows nothing out of the ordinary. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Under the Client debug menu, make sure "View Updates" is not toggled.

You've somehow enabled Show Updates - turn it off in the Client menu or with ctrl-alt-shift-u.

It's a debug thing.. Green is an object being deleted, blue is an object position/rotation being updated, red is a full object update.

Hmm interesting. I know now what these particles are caused by, the "show updates" toggle, but they started appearing for me suddenly also and I'm fairly certain I didn't accidentally hit ctrl-alt-shift-u :p .

Was a bit alarming at the time, a relog doesn't remove them of course. Perhaps this is a minor glitch with the latest code?

It seems that with each update there are occurences of various things like this that get turned on by the simple act of updating your client. This is one of the common ones.
