Hi, Id like to know if there is a way to preview on worldmap the teleport location someone offers, (when the teleport popup comes up) before i confirm or cancel. This way i could decide better, or create a Land Mark without going there. Thanks

You can type in the name of the sim from the invite on the map and pull it up, then click on the green dot on the sim and get a pretty close landmark. If there are a lot of green dots, you are going to have to guess which one is the person sending you the offer.

Thanks Raymond but what if the message that appears in the popup is a users one like "join me here" for example?

or alternatively if the TP comes in a notecard then type in its co-ords in the map and that will highlight exactly where its located.
Also, when you send an invite normally it will read "join me in Timbuktu", this can be changed to whatever the sender wants, so it may not actually be a place name.

From: AlexNP Greggan Thanks Raymond but what if the message that appears in the popup is a users one like "join me here" for example? "Join me Here" is the preset of the TP invite followed by the region name.

From: AlexNP Greggan Thanks Raymond but what if the message that appears in the popup is a users one like "join me here" for example? I think you are asking what happens if the change invite to something that does not include the region name. As far as I know, there is no way of knowing where here is, unless you are friends and they have given you permission to see where they are on the map. /fixed. Night.

Only as Raymond said and if the invite includes the place name.
Alternatively, if you do not know or remember the person, their name is included with the invite, goto search and search their name and look at their profile, just because you're not on each others friends list does not necessarily mean you do not know each other.

ya know, this got me thinking..... I always refuse TP offers even from friends unless it's been discussed beforehand. The other day someone offered me a TP out of the blue while I was in the middle of a major headachy sewing session. I felt really rude to decline and did explain, but also thought it was kinda strange throwing someone a TP without any conversation beforehand.

Get people to TP in to earn money. I've seen a few of these. Look like Telephone booths. Do a search on any name and then start sending out TP invites.
