Isn't it kind of weird that roads were put there to drive around the mainland. 70% of the roads Ive seen are either no build or no scripts. Meh I'm probably one of the few that drives on the mainland anyways.  |

There's nothing crazy about driving around on the mainland roads, although it's a lot easier to do so with mouselook steering and cruise control. :>

I got stuck on a long strip of LL roadway that had build on and the autoreturn off....I would have reported it if I hadnt crashed and logged back in at home  I've always liked picking a random road to fly along...its disgusting what ads are littering the roadways though. Just pitifull. |

I've never tried them, but I've been told they didn't work properly on the no-script oceans of Nautilus. (My speedboats and fake sailboats always worked fine, except for a few things like changing hover-text.) |

Roads are no-build to keep people from rezzing things on them that block those roads. Just rez your vehicle on a nearby parcel and then drive onto the road. May take a bit to find a suitable place, but usually you can.
