The text is part of the XUI, I believe. Here is the slightly aged guide on how to add a new language to SL, perhaps someone else knows if there is any newer information.

Or search in Groups for Babeli ... perhaps there is a maintenance group for it. Of course, that would just translate chat ... are there people out there who actually converse in Esperanto? If so, fascinating. Lastly, here's a guy from IBM who integrated a package to do on-the-fly translations into the open source client.
