Is there a limit on the number of premium memberships you can have?
If not, am i allowed to use all my alts to sell $L to cover the premium fee?
I ask because i remember reading something in the TOS about getting banned for trying to beat the trading limits with the use of alts.
Also, i have currency going back and forth on the market to earn a little interest, would this effect me being able to use alts to pay their premium fees by trading my lindens?
Thanks for any replies.

If I remember right there used to be a household limit on total number of accounts (whether premium or basic), but those limits were officially eliminated on 6/6/06 when they introduced the unverified program.
EDIT: Also, I'm not a Linden, and only they could authoritatively answer this (but I bet they wouldn't because they don't like splitting hairs), but if all you're trying to do is pay for your subscription fees I don't think they'd have a problem with that. They're more concerned about people trying to manipulate the LindeX than about individuals just taking care of their SL costs.

No limit on the number of accounts, or on how many of them can be Premium.
Trading limits are a different matter, and LL migt well look askance if it seems alts, Premium or not, are being used as a way to circumvent limits. If you really need higher trading limits, apply for an increase in your limits.

It sounds to me like the OP is not really talking about exceeding his trading limits, but more concerned about LL thinking he's trying to work around the limits by handling trades on different accounts. Sounds like they would all be very low volume if that's the case.

By the sounds of it I will be sweet as long as I don't try to trade beyond the limits linden has set for me. Thanks for your answers.

I made a total of 5 premium accounts in October before the stipend was lowered from L$400 per week to L$300 per week. Any attempt to add any more accounts since then was met with the notice that I was at the limit. I had 2 accounts disabled when I went over the trading limit total for the main account which was a currency trader. I applied for and received a trading limit increase finally in January. Starting in February I have been applying for another trading limit increase. Here is my latest rejection.

Hi,
Thanks for your inquiry. We have reviewed your request as in the past and have at this time determined that there will not be a tier increase.
Regards,
Linden Lab
I'm not about to go beyond my current limit with any alt account as I feel that is just what LL wants so they can disable the main account and possibly permanently ban me. I don't know why they would it is just a feeling. I have no problem with any other department in LL but billing seems to have a bug up their a$$ about my activities.
