Ahhh, not a name I was familiar with, I was curious because I saw the OP also had a thread advertising his Estate business, and that got me wondering if perhaps there covenant had been broken by trying to sub lease the place.

Whilst I do not doubt that someone has taken advantage of you, LL do not get involved in resident to resident disputes and that extends to their forums. There are lots of forums out there though that you can have a field day on if you are so inclined. I am sorry this happened to you  |

And why would such a thing make you wonder even if I did? Not to long ago I was ripped off in world, not a huge amount of money granted, but I am still smarting that I was so stupid. I try and put some of that right through world of mouth, my friends LOVE to shop, so do their friends, etc.... I get that you are angry, I would be to, but still the rules are in place here and we have to follow them if we wish to use these forums. |

Lests see , when i open this Post was abouth something that happend to me, no MATTER THE NAMES. Now .. 1- Why Linden Lab Dosent reply to the Report ? This is my 2nd Report in 2 years, never got a reply! 2- Why if someone dosent belive me go there and check the rental Box? Still have 1 week and 2 days left but the Rental Box is loked without reason! ohh yes i know this dosent matter, maybe i get a reply when the Rental Box is goen! 3- For what has Linden Lab at the game this option to Report Land Fraud if they never take care of this ? I´m finish with this Post, this is taken my time and i have more to do. One more persone was scammed but this dosent matter to anyone, less to Linde Lab, bad luck for me and others that had the same problem. And btw .. this is not because the 560 L$ i lost its just because should not happen. Thank you all for posting here. |

Seems to me people post these things out of frustration. AR gets you damn all feedback and not everyone is eligible for support at any level.
I'd like to see some form of arbitration or ombudsperson (PC is killing the English language) service and for LL to take some responsibility in the matter. The LL 'hands off' position regarding resident to resident business is basically a license to scam. I have been renting from this landlord on and off for the past few years. If you can't reach him you should check with the officers listed in the group. I would also check the owner of the prims that are blocking as any group member could have put those on your parcel. Sorry to hear about your problem. It took me a day to get added to the group but they did extend my rent time.

To make it clear:
Linden Lab does not get involved in resident vs resident dispute. And this is a resident vs resident dispute. Also, with ARs, you won't know if it's had an effect unless you have money return or some other visible to you means. And I quite agree with the official forums not having allowing the naming of names. If you want to know exactly why, go down to the Archives and look for General. You'll know you've got the right forum, because it was closed, in part, because of crap like that going on. _____________________

Land owner: yes correct, I am going to refund all my tenant and you are next Me: You dont need to refund anything to me, that dosent matter, but the action you made yes. Land Owner : you passed judgement on me without hearing my side of the story. It doesn't matter. I am aware of what you wrote, You can report to linden as well. but 560 is yours. I will still return to you. Me : Well if you had something to tell me, maybe the correct way would be sending me a notecard with what you had to say. Not sure if I´m correct. Thank you anyway for the refund. Have a Merry Christmas. Land owner: I just want to say things happen in real life I locked all the rental box because I do not wantto accept any more payment as I have decided to sell the sim. anyway it doesn't matter now. merry christmas --------------------------------------------- I just dont know one thing ... He was online several times and never contated me, just today. But well, at least he has contacted me! |
