camera zoom in and out?

hello good ppl . i have a friend that cant seem to cam back and look at the big picture so to say and she has the same viewer as i. the 22 version i believe . u know how u can use your mouse wheel and roll it in to go into first person mode, or u can roll your mouse wheel the other direction and u cam way out and admire your self from a distance or view what u are working on better. well i gave my friend a parachute and we jumped off a high spot obviously and i told her to cam out so she could watch herself and her parachute fall. . she said she couldnt cam out. and that her ctrl +8 was as far as it would allow her to cam out.. i checked in settings and we tryed the disable camera restraints and i cant seem to find anything else that wouldnt allow her to cam out really far. i imagine it would be real difficult for her to build also cause i use it alot when attempting to build any one have this issue?

Some people are having this issue with the new viewer.

oh well if that is the case i hope they fix it before it is manditory cause that would suck

There is a JIRA (vote) about this - I think the thread's title is "has this happened to anyone else" or something like that if you want to try to find it. It has the JIRA link in it. Or maybe someone will post either/both here.

Could also be that she needs to remove the camera constraints. Under the Advanced menu, down close to the bottom there are a couple of options related to camming distance -- Limit Select Distance and Disable Camera Constraints. Uncheck the first and check the second.

ok littleme . i will check all that when i get home. i did how ever check the camera restraints but i cant remember if it was under the advanced tab. so i will look there also . ty
