Hello.

I need to build something very big, and was wondering if anyone know of any tools that would help me work with mega prims, alignment etc.

Ya can't make 'em anymore.
There's a special HUD which will find and deliver to you any available sized mega for free on SLX somewhere, called something?????
There is no 6x7x30 mega anywhere though.

You should also be aware that while you can change the shape (box, sphere, cylinder, etc) of a megaprim; and cut, dimple, hollow, etc.; you cannot change the size of a megaprim or it will instantly revert to nearest default size with 10 meters as it's greatest dimension.

Hello.

You can align mega prims using prim.docker, I'm not sure if the same procedure will work with other alignment tools?

1st Rezz your Mega prim
2nd rez a normal 0.5x0.5x0.5 box (I normally make this a little larger) and place it centre to your mega prim.
3rd add your prim docker scripts to the normal prim and then link the 2 prims making your normal prim the Root Prim.

Depending on what axis you are aliging to it may be necessary to move your root prim in relation to the mega prim. Prim.Docker takes into account the overall size of all prims in a linkset.

Do not add the prim.docker script to the mega prim it will revert back to a 10x10x10 prim.

Also for your future information there is a forum dedicated to these types of questions called the builders forum.
