Hi All I would like to add a shadow underneath my furniture to make it look more authentic. Does anyone know how to do it? TIA BB

it`s just a prim with a shadow tetxure (black with sides alpha)

Make a shadow texture in your paint program of choice... a semi-transparent dark blob with edges fading out to transparent seems best, experiment until you get something you like. Create a flat prim, transparent on all sides and your shadow texture on top. Size as appropriate and link underneath furniture.

Alicia is indeed correct. However, if you make them white they can be used as both shadow and light. Just change the colour to black (edit texture) if you're using them as shadows. Also, make a few different shapes - square, round, spotlight etc
