I upgraded my account to premium (with the quarterly payments), but then I accidentally downgraded to basic right after that - so, now it is saying that I'll be downgraded to basic after Dec. 28th - but the problem is, I want to re-upgrade now, not wait two months!!!! I would like to buy land, but it will not allow me to, even though I am technically still a premium account holder until Dec. 28th - when I try to buy land, it says that there was an error due to my account being set to downgrade on Dec.28th - how can I fix this and get back to premium right now??? Thanks, to anyone who can help me!!!!

Two options, depending on whether you are able to make a phone call in/to the USA:
1) "If you have an issue with your account (non-technical, billing/password/etc), you can call our Billing team at: toll-free (US/Canada) 800-294-1067 or long-distance (not free) 703-286-6277. They're available 24 hours a day, seven days a week."
2) Since you are still a premium account holder right now, you can open a support ticket by following the Support link on the SL main page and logging into the support system.

Hi Isabeau, and welcome to the forums! Sorry to hear about your experience. Unfortunately, this is a common problem when people downgrade their account before the prepaid time runs out. It is just bad programming on Linden Lab's part, which sadly is not an unusual thing. What you need to do is contact the Billing Department and ask to have your account set back to Premium. You can go to the Support Portal and file a support ticket, or call the Billing phone number provided on the main page of the Support Portal. Let me know if you need more complete instructions. Okay, firstly, don't panic. You'll need to open a support ticket and/or get in contact with Billings. They'll sort that out for you.. Unless someone else knows of an easier way?

Also, don't be afraid to follow up if they don't respond within a day or two. For the follow-up, go with a phone call (if reasonable for you) or live chat, and be sure to refer them to the ticket you submitted.

Happened to me a few months ago. Calling did the trick. Took only a couple of minutes (once I got in).
