Can you do this without having to sign up for a PayPal account, I think PayPal is evil.
I know you can get a check, but there is a 10 dollar fee and that's not too sexy.
So do I need a premium account to use my credit card to recieve funds through my card?
Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

No. Doesn't matter if you're Premium or Basic, PayPal or check are the only options. As I understand it, that's because of the credit card companies, not LL.
