I want to send money back to somebody who sent me some my first day (to get skin and shape, etc). I spent a small amount and want to send the rest back. I want to do it off line. Is that possible?

Short answer: yes you have to log on.

Slightly longer answer: you might be able to with a "slimmed down" barebones SL client (someone will chime in if there is one that'll let you :)) but it'll still require logging in.

Did you loose your password or you're just not able to still log on for an extended time? Just wondering why you're asking in case it's due to a different problem altogther :).

SLeek and AjaxLife will let you pay other residents. AjaxLife has limited search capabilities, but the one that it DOES have is for people, so it has what you need. We won't know whether SLim will have that capability until it is released.

There is no way to pay people without having SOME avatar logged in. It could be a bot, however, like the ones that SLX and OnRez use to send money to your avatar.
